Googol

Tools and processes

In our work we utilize a number of specific tools and processes. Here are a few examples:

Innovation System Configuration Tool

Based on our experience, competence and research a configuration tool for innovation systems has evolved. It guides corporations in developing its innovation capabilities and serves to embed innovation within an existing organization. We believe that since no two corporations are the same, their innovation systems cannot be either. This model provides us with the opportunity to create bespoke models for every client.

Innovation Audit

Innovation audit is a method to quickly assess a corporations innovation capability. It is built with our configuration tool in mind and helps create a bird eye view on the pros and cons of a corporations innovation set-up. It also helps to identify specific areas in which the corporation can make improvements in order to strengthen their structural value and ultimately their ability to innovate.

New Business Development Process

In order to guide new business development (nbd) Googol uses an end-to-end business development process. The process covers everything from nbd strategy design to early commercialization. While proven effective and efficient, we are not rigid within the process. We do realize that flexibility and iteration are two of the most important factors in successfully bringing new concepts (that the customers appreciate) to the market. The process is utilized to assist companies in identifying, developing and commercializing new business opportunities.

STA

The Sta approach is, in our opinion, brilliant in its simplicity. Sta stands for strategy, tactics and action and is a planning tool that will help put focus on relevant business issues and the implementation of innovative solutions. It serves one purpose and one purpose only: to drive growth and value creation in a structured and rapid way.

Extended Network Seminars

In our extended network seminars corporations can access the minds and creativity of individuals in our extended network. These can be brand experts, industrial designers, artists, technology experts, actors, or just about anything you can imagine. During these seminars we discuss issues relevant to the corporation to identify new trends and opportunities utilizing the collective value of different perspectives and backgrounds. We often find that the outcome is not only of value to the corporation but also unexpected.
