2010-05-24Googol participates in project to develop a methodology for meassuring Innovation
Googol has participated in a project, initiated by the Innovation Pioneers International network, to develop a methodology to better measure Innovation.
"It is not simply ROI, Return on Investment that we see a need to measure. We have to measure what we later can steer from" says Jan Sandqvist, partner at Googol as he continues. "When taking into account what we put into the process, how we run the process and what values we can extract from the process, well then we start to have valuable metrics."
The results from the study are published in The Book of Metrics, launched in mid-June 2010. The book can be ordered directly from Googol as well as from the Innovationpioneers.net website.
"The angle we have chosen to base our methodology on is most interesting. I believe that basically every organization profits from implementing metrics, however we also have to remember to communicate what we measure", says Joachim Cronquist, also a partner at Googol.
