Childrens rights to play
2009-06-01Ever since we started our Googol journey, benefiting for our own purpouse has not been our only motive. Now, we have taken our engagements to a formation allowing many more to enjoy the fruits of our vision.
At Googol we allow ourselves to engage in different matters for those in need, through projects that catch our attention and seek our support. Amongst those that we have supported we find the successful organisation FRIENDS, active in preventing bullying at schools as well as På Rätt Köl, a project helping children with ADHD.
Through our participation as advisors we were asked to form a new vision and a new set of projects to engage in. We did. We worked towards setting up an organisation able to support social entrepreneurs with more than just funds. With this Hugo Stenbecks Stiftelse was set for new projects.
We recruited Sara Damber, founder of FRIENDS, to manage the operations of the new organisation together with Sophie Stenbeck. Sophie and Sara has since, with their advisors and the members of the Board, formed and developed the strategy to support childrens right to play.
