Meet Emma - New Project Manager at Googol

Jan 27, 2011

Emma Berglund has landed at Googol. As our new Project Manager she is focusing mainly on three areas: PR and Communications, Collaborations with universities and organizations and Innovation Pioneers – the network that Googol initiated in 2008.

Her prior experience fits like a glove for the assignment at Googol. Emma recently left the position as Information Manager at KTH Business Liaison (The Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm. During three years she was responsible for external and internal information regarding trade and industry cooperation, alumni relations, student career support, innovation support and further education. She has obviously a great network and understanding of innovations.

Emma is an avid cross country and telemark skier and sports enthusiast. Having grown up in northern city of Umeå, she is used to many options for skiing. As well as football and floor ball.

Asked about Sweden’s potential for innovations, she concludes that Sweden is probably better at innovations and innovating then the rest of the world thinks. This is due to the reason that Swedish companies generally are poor in communicating innovations. They can do better.

Emma has a great interest in challenges, change, improvements and development – words that she associates with innovation.

- If it wasn’t for innovations, our society would stop developing, Emma says.
